Niu Cher shui - 牛车水

Yesterday 14th of January..when out for dinner with a bunch of my colleagues, not a whole lot of them, but just 4 of us to be exact. Previously they decided to go niu cher shui for this...

But then we flipped through the menu and realize that there wasn't much choice, so we decided to walk on and see if there's any other restaurant to dine in.

I've personally been to niu cher shui a couple of times, and so i've recommended my peeps to eat in a shop call 好味道(Hao Wei Dao), its a restaurant something like Wong Kok style, if you ever been to one, but i personally think the choices over at hao wei dao is alot wider compared to wong kok and their respective competitors. so we went.

I love this page the most in the entire menu.

A little of the place..i dunno why, but this place feels really homely and comfortable..makes you want to sit there and not leave..

I don't deny, I am a big fan of carbonara, I actually go around places trying out Carbonaras to see which offers the best in town. I've tried the ones here, it is so damn bloody awesome it deserves its own way of calling it nice...Fwesome!!! lol.. you know what it means.. anyway..i really thought of trying something else that day for a change.

So i ordered this!

Fettucine in Pesto sause with Bacon..lol its seriously awesome man..i think the pasta in this restaurant are all fwesome!!

Im not much of a drink person..so ice tea works just fine for me..hehe


This is the Carbonara i've mentioned above..Ariel love it so much, she comes back for more..this sinful plate of complex carbs and fats just keeps you coming back for more, and it never fails to give you that orgasm everytime you put it in your mouth. sounds so wrong..but oh well..haha

Something really special ah see ordered..Pork Chop Ramen..haha she ordered this because her tummy wasn't feeling very well and something "cheng"(清) was essential.

And lastly, Ah Koon's Lai Yao Chicken rice (Butter oil chicken rice). Ah koon is really like me, he goes everywhere trying out their lai yao chicken rice to find the best one..apparently this shop doesn't serve one that is up to standard..so you decide whether you wanna try it le..

We all had a satisfied dinner. I'll go find out what's in fullhouse one day, and i'll definitely write an entry about it.
